Weekend (3 nights) at Detached Cottage near Hay on Wye

Near the village of Peterchurch, Herefordshire (5 mins walk along a footpath) and 8 miles from Hay-on-Wye and the Black Mountains. The cottage sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms,1 with double bed and the other with two single beds which also work as a double (side by side). Living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom with shower, basin and WC. Large landing which could sleep 1 other person ( possibly a child).  The cottage has central heating, a woodstove in the dining room and fireplace in the living room. Internet access and mobile phone signal but no TV. Large garden. Kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge and washing machine .

Good shops and many second hand bookshops in Hay on Wye (known as the book town and about 15 mins by car) . A well stocked village shop in Peterchurch for all essentials. The owners can give advice about pubs and other good places to eat. The Hay Winter Weekend Festival is November 26-29 this year.
